X-rays are a very common aspect of dental technology. We use x-rays to get an up-close look at your teeth, roots, and jawbone. X-rays help us detect issues that might otherwise go unnoticed, which is why they are so important! While x-rays do use radiation to take an image of your teeth and bones, modern technology has reduced the level of radiation significantly. You are not at risk of complications from the radiation of occasional x-rays.SureSmile®
SureSmile® is an innovative company focused on easy orthodontic treatment. We work with SureSmile® to help you get the beautiful straight smile of your dreams in a way that is subtle and efficient. SureSmile® uses advanced digital imaging to take a scan of your mouth to create clear aligners that are precisely designed to gradually shift your teeth into better alignment. With SureSmile®, we can generate digital images of what your teeth will look like once we are done shifting them. A CEREC scanner is an advanced scanner that can take an extremely accurate 3D image of your mouth. We use CEREC scanners in conjunction with SureSmile® to get a model of your teeth without doing messy and uncomfortable impressions.
