1.  Is Horizons Dental accepting new patients?

2. Where is Horizons Dental located?
   • We are located at 837 Seminole Rd, Suite 100, Norton Shores, MI 49441. We serve patients from Norton Shores, Muskegon, Muskegon Heights, Roosevelt Park, and the surrounding West Michigan communities.
3. What are your office hours?
   • Our office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
4. How do I schedule my first appointment?

5. What should I bring to my first dental appointment?

8. What if I don’t have dental insurance?

10. What does a routine dental exam include?
    • A comprehensive exam typically includes digital X-rays, a full clinical examination of your teeth and gums, oral cancer screening, and a professional cleaning. We’ll also discuss a personalized treatment plan.
11. Do you offer digital X-rays?
    • • Yes. We use digital X-rays, which emit significantly less radiation than traditional film X-rays and provide instant, high-resolution images that help Dr. Leyder detect issues earlier and more accurately.

12. Do you treat children as well as adults?

2. How does professional teeth whitening work?
   • Professional teeth whitening uses prescription-strength bleaching agents significantly more effective than over-the-counter products. Most patients see teeth whiten by several shades in a single in-office visit.
3. What are dental veneers, and are they right for me?

4. What is SureSmile®, and how is it different from traditional braces?

5. How long does a smile makeover take?

6. Are dental implants a good option for missing teeth?

7. Am I a candidate for dental implants?

8. What are dentures, and what types do you offer?
   • We offer full dentures (for patients missing all teeth), partial dentures (for patients missing some teeth), and implant-supported dentures for a more stable, permanent solution.
9. What is the difference between a crown and a bridge?
   • • A dental crown caps and protects a single damaged tooth. A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring to adjacent natural teeth or implants on either side.

1. Does Horizons Dental treat sleep apnea?
   • Yes. We offer oral appliance therapy for patients with obstructive sleep apnea or snoring. A custom-fitted oral appliance is a comfortable, non-invasive alternative to a CPAP machine.
2. What is TMJ/TMD and can you help?
   • TMD refers to conditions causing jaw pain, headaches, clicking, popping, or difficulty chewing. We offer diagnosis and treatment including custom night guards, bite adjustments, or other tailored therapies.
3. What is a night guard and do I need one?
